A licensed Practitioner of Religious Science is a spiritual counselor trained to see the absolute Truth in any situation, whether it be physical or mental health, finances, relationships, career issues, etc. Practitioners have completed four years of study accredited by United Centers for Spiritual Living, and have passed both a written examination and an oral panel.
Practitioners serve clients privately in person, by phone, or sometimes by mail or e-mail, assisting them to see the Divine Reality beyond their present situation. All sessions are held in the strictest confidence, and are an opportunity for clients to discuss their issues in an atmosphere of unconditional love. At the conclusion of a session, the Practitioner performs a "spiritual mind treatment", which is a very powerful form of affirmative prayer.
Professional practitioners often work in conjunction with physical and mental health care professionals to facilitate healing, and Practitioner services are covered by at least one health insurance company. Practitioners charge a fee for their services, but no one should allow their finances to be a reason for not seeing one.
Simply stated, a Practitioner is one who knows that there is a spiritual Truth, a quality of God, behind every human appearance or condition, and that rather than being defined by that appearance or condition, we are freed by the knowledge that we are each imbued with all the qualities of the Divine. A Practitioner knows that anything can be worked out through prayer!
